The interim government is recruiting skilled, capable and honest manpower by driving out patrons of the ousted fascist Awami League government from the public administration.
Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain made the statement while addressing a function held at the Officers’ Club on Baily Road in Dhaka on Friday, marking the three-month anniversary of the interim government.
He also called upon the countrymen to cooperate with the government by providing relevant information from their respective positions to make the efforts successful.
Asif, also a leader of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, urged the government officials within the government to work for the sake of the people's welfare, ignoring the bureaucratic complexities.
“We all will have to work transparently to fulfill the people's aspiration upholding the spirit of the recent mass upsurge,” he said.
Asif also urged the country’s political parties to uphold the spirit of the mass upsurge.
