BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has stated, "The 31-point reform proposal is not just BNP's own creation. It was developed based on the collective opinion of all those involved in the movement. Many aspects of this 31-point reform proposal will align with the reform initiatives taken by the interim government."
He made these remarks on Thursday at a seminar titled "BNP's 31-Point State Reform Proposal and Citizen Perspective." The seminar was held at a luxury hotel in the capital.
According to the BNP Secretary General, BNP introduced a state reformation proposal almost two years ago. The goal of the event is to reintroduce the proposals related to state reform.
He added, "These 31 points are not only BNP's own; this state reform proposal was created with the input of allies in the joint movement(student-people uprising). The new proposal will align with 31 points, as it must, since it was developed with the vision of advancing the nation."
The seminar was chaired by Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, while the party's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman joined as the chief guest virtually.
