Law and Parliamentary Affairs adviser Asif Nazrul said that the government is embarrassed about the cases which are being filed in wholesale manner due to political revenge or becoming victims.
He also said that advice has been sought from the Judicial Commission on how to deal with it.
He said this after attending a meeting of the Judicial Reform Commission at the Judicial Administration Training Institute on Tuesday afternoon.
He also said that in the future, all judges will be appointed in the judicial department using laws that’s suitable for present time. He also said that assistance will be sought from the Judicial Reform Commission so that talented people can come as judges.
Meanwhile, Asif Nazrul said, "The previous government has filed many cases in absenteeism, but now these cases are not being accepted."
The legal adviser said that there are some logistical problems in the work of the Judicial Reform Commission, but he is optimistic.
