Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar has said that doing all the reforms is not possible for the interim government.
"There should be an immediate election for the full reformation of the state," he said.
Golam Parwar came up with the observation while speaking at a discussion marking the historic ‘Revolution and Solidarity Day’ on Thursday morning.
Claiming that conspiracies are still going on, he called upon the party’s leaders and activists to remain alert about any kind of plot.
Mentioning that accomplices of the ousted Awami League are still doing their job in all sectors including in the administration, the Jamaat leader urged the interim government’s chief adviser to remove them immediately.
Dhaka South City unit Jamaat secretary Dr Shafiqul Islam Masud said although Awami League godfathers flee the country, their aides are hatching a conspiracy.
Posing a warning to take stern action if the plots are not stopped, he said, students and people would resist all conspiracies.
