Two more dengue patients died and 961 others were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning in the country.
The dengue death toll has risen to 271 so far this year.
"During the period, 381 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city while 580 patients were admitted to different hospitals outside the capital city," said a statement of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of cases rose to 55,663 across the country.
In 2023, the country recorded 1,705 dengue-related deaths and a total of 321,179 dengue cases.
