A massive fire has broken out at a tire factory in Chattogram, with five fire service units working to bring it under control.
The incident occurred around 9:15 AM on Thursday (October 24) at a factory located in the Mousumi residential area, Naya Bazar, Pahartali.
Resident Shakhawat Hossain stated, "I saw smoke rising from the factory shortly after 9 AM."
Although the fire service is actively working to extinguish the flames, they have not yet been able to control the situation.
Many families reside in the nearby buildings, and locals are making efforts to evacuate them.
Abdur Rajjak, Senior Station Officer of Agrabad Fire Service, told the media that five units were dispatched to the scene at 9:25 AM to help control the fire.
However, the cause of the blaze has not yet been determined.
