The International Crimes Tribunal's main building will commence trial proceedings by November 3, announced Asif Nazrul, Adviser of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
He shared this information after a visit to the tribunal on Wednesday morning, accompanied by Housing Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan and Chief Prosecutor Mohammad Tajul Islam.
During this, he avoided commenting on the meeting with Chief Justice Dr. Syed Refaat Ahmed regarding the President's resignation.
Meanwhile, in the morning, Chief Prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal Mohammad Tajul Islam announced that arrest warrants for 46 individuals, including Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, have been sent to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) on genocide charges.
He confirmed that copies of the warrants have already been dispatched.
