The Ministry of Home Affairs has ordered the authorities to refrain from filing lawsuits, making arrests, or harassing individuals who were involved in the July-August mass uprising, reports UNB.
In a notification issued on Monday, the ministry stated that students and mass people who actively participated in the mass movement from July 15 to August 8 will not face any kind of legal action or harassment.
Authorities were instructed to remain highly vigilant in this matter.
