Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Sunday predicted light to moderate and moderately heavy rainfall or thundershowers with temporary gusty wind at places over all eight divisions of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am on sunday.
"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country," said the weather bulletin issued Sunday morning, reports BSS.
Day and night temperatures may fall slightly over the country, it added.
Country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 35.5 degrees Celsius jointly in Rajshahi and Ishurdi of Rajshahi district while today's minimum temperature 24.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in Dinajpur of Rangpur division.
Rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6 am today was recorded 46 mm in Rangamati.
