Whip Iqbalur Rahim said we’ve to practice the Bangali culture getting out of the facebook culture.
“The current democratic government of the country believes the humane qualities can’t be flourished without the practice of art, literature and culture as these elements can contribute a lot to change the human mindscape,” he said.
He believes the accolades distributed by the Shilpakala Academy will contribute a lot in building smart Bangladesh and expand the scope of art and artists.
Whip said this while speaking as the chief guest at the Dinajpur district Shilpakala Academy (academy for art and culture) award-giving and discussion meeting event organized by Academy on Friday night.
Chairman of Upazila Parishad Imdad Sarkar, Additional Superintendent of Police Mominul Karim, General Secretary of District Awami League Altafuzzaman Mita, President of Sammilita Sanstik Jot Sultan Kamal Uddin Bachchu, President of Dinajpur Natya Samiti and Journalist Chitta Ghosh and others were present on the occasion. District Cultural Officer Meen Ara Parveen gave the welcome speech.
At the end, the own artists of the District Shilpakala Academy performed a wonderful cultural program.
