Cox's Bazar's coral island St. Martin is shaking with the sound of mortar shells and heavy firing due to the clash between the Arakan Army and armed forces in Myanmar's Rakhine state. In this context, Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridge Minister Obaidul Quader said, 'We will not spare anyone if we get attacked. We won’t attack intentionally. Rather, we have preparations to give it a befitting reply.”
He said these in a briefing at the Awami League president's political office in Dhanmondi on Saturday afternoon. While talking about the United Nations in this briefing, the minister said that the United Nations is now without a clue. Israel does not listen to them. Even big countries don't pay heed to them.
Obaidul Quader said that Bangladesh is in economic crisis like any other countries of the world and said, "As Bangladesh is in economic crisis like the whole world, there is nothing to hide about it.”
Awami League Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nashim, Organizing Secretary BM Mozammel Haque, Sujit Roy Nandi, Liberation War Affairs Secretary Mrinal Kanti Das, Deputy Publicity and Publication Affairs Secretary Abdul Awal Shamim were also present there.
