Passengers on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway enjoyed a comfortable Eid journey without traffic congestion.
The 105-km stretch through Cumilla district, from Meghna Gumti Bridge toll plaza to Chouddagram Padua point, remained clear of tailbacks, according to Highway Police, reports UNB.
Sub-inspector Anwar Hossain of Daudkandi Highway Police confirmed that vehicles were moving smoothly.
Bus stands in areas like Gouripur, Iliotganj, Madhaiya, Chandina, Nimsar, Cumilla Cantonment, Alekharchar, Padua Bazar, Suagonj, Mia Bazar, and Chouddagram saw a higher volume of vehicles, particularly private ones, moving slowly but steadily.
