Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal placed Tk 761,785 crore budget for the next fiscal year (FY-2023-24) on Thursday at the Parliament.
The budget session started at 3:00 pm with Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
Some products will be cheaper as the government has exempted VAT and tax on various products in the budget.
These products are meat and flesh products, local LED bulbs and switches and sockets, sweet-related products, software, some luxurious products, luxurious foreign products, and delivery charge products of e-commerce.
