Three held with 4 gold bars in Chuadanga

Detective Branch (DB) of Police, in a drive, Friday night arrested three people with four flat gold bars in Jibannagar upazila of Chuadanga.

The detainees were identified as Mazharul Islam Paltu, 32, hailed from Ghurgachi village, Shahbuddin Khan, 36, a resident of Barandi village and Asir Uddin, 42, hailed from Ghurgachi village under the upazila, reports BSS.

DB sources said, on information, they conducted a raid on Shahpur- Raipur road in the upazila around 8 pm and nabbed the trio with the gold bars.
