MP Noman Al Mahmud takes oath

MP Noman Al Mahmud takes oath

Newly elected Member of Parliament (MP) from the Chittagong-8 constituency Noman Al Mahmud took the oath of office at the Parliament on Tuesday.

Parliament Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury administered the oath to Noman, elected in the by-poll with the ruling Awami League's ticket, in her office.

Parliament Secretariat Senior Secretary KM Abdus Salam conducted the oath taking ceremony.

After taking the oath, MP Noman Al Mahmoud signed the oath book according to the custom.

Chief Whip Noor-E-Alam Chowdhury and senior officials were present, among others.
