Khaleda Zia to return home this afternoon

BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is set to return home Thursday afternoon after the completion of a regular health check-up at Evercare Hospital in the capital.

She will be taken home around 3 pm, confirmed by BNP Media Cell member Shamsuddin Didar.

Khaleda Zia was admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital on Saturday night for some medical tests and required treatment.

Khaleda Zia visited the same hospital for health check-ups on February 27.

She was last admitted to Evercare Hospital on November 13 last year where she was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis.

The 76-year-old former prime minister has been suffering from various ailments, including liver cirrhosis, arthritis, diabetes, kidney, lung and eye problems.
