Road Safety Foundation said 265 people were killed in road mishaps across the country during recent Eid journeys.
The organisation made the claim based on accidents which took place in 14 days from April 16 to 29.
In a press statement, it said 240 road mishaps countrywide also injured 454 persons.
Motorcycle accidents killed 133 who are 46.66 percent of the total mortalities. During this time, 27 pedestrians and eight drivers and helpers were killed.
The deceased included 26 women and 53 children.
