Failing miserably to implement repeated conspiracies, BNP is now fatigued and perplexed, said Dr Salim Mahmud, secretary of Information and Research of Bangladesh Awami League.
Bangladesh Nationalist Party has been defeated to Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina in every step of conspiracy.
“Objective of BNP was to unseat Awami League government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. They expected ‘a country’ to put them in power out of friendship. Stopping political activities, BNP leaders had been pursuing lobbyists and spending million dollars for a decade. But the party is worried about recent attitude of that country and its allies. The dream of monarchy has been marred and jeopardized,” he said.
In last couple of days, BNP leaders are of the opinion that foreign quarters do not go beyond their set policies. The foreigners will not annoy the government at the cost of their interest. The statements of BNP leaders are questioning their longstanding policy and futility. It is also proved that the party had long been engaged in anti-state activities. The party is being run by a mafia group who are active against the country and its people for petty personal interests.
After 2018 national polls, BNP-Jamaat alliance was more busy with repeated conspiracies against the state. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina thwarted every plot.
Abusing the facilities of digital Bangladesh, BNP was spreading rumour about the government’s effort in Covid-19 vaccination. The party tried to interrupt inoculation programme, create panic, instigate western countries to impose sanction against Bangladesh and fish in dirty waters, especially ahead of the next general elections.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has uprooted every conspiracy on the part of BNP and its allies. Had the conspirators succeeded in their bids, the country would have faced a dire consequence.
Relying on foreigners ignoring countrymen indicates organisational fragility and political hollowness of a party, reports Daily Sun.
