Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday visited Miraikan, The Japanese National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, at Amoi, Koto-ku, in Japan, reports BSS.
"The Prime Minister has taken around various sections of the Miraikan, The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation," PM's Speechwriter M Nazrul Islam told BSS.
At her arrival in the museum, Sheikh Hasina was warmly received by the authorities concerned.
The Prime Minister was apprised of how humankind can survive in a sustainable way in environment friendly atmosphere, Nazul Islam said.
She was also briefed on how the carbon dioxide emissions, plastic and other human actions risking the lives of mankind and other animals in planet and the way to survive it, he said.
The Prime Minister was also witnessed an exhibition of the spaceship.
Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's youngest daughter Sheikh Rehana accompanied her elder sister Sheikh Hasina during the visit.
State Minister for Foreign Md Shahriar Alam and State Minister of Information and Communication Technology Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Bangladesh Ambassador to Japan Shahabuddin Ahmed and Director General of Bangladesh National Museum Md Kamruzzaman and PMO Secretary Mohammad Salahuddin were present.
Visitors can experience the technological progress of today, from simple day-to-day questions, to the latest technologies, the global environment, space exploration and life science.
In addition to exhibitions that provide people with a chance to enjoy hands-on contact with science and technology, Miraikan's colorful line-up of offerings includes experienced based classes and talks.
