Md Sahabuddin takes oath as president

Md Sahabuddin has taken oath as the 22nd President of Bangladesh on Monday.

Speaker of Jatiya Sangsad Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury administered the oath to him at the historic Durbar Hall of Bangabhaban at around 11 o'clock.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Cabinet members attended the swearing-in ceremony. The program was conducted by Cabinet Secretary Md. Mahbub Hossain.

After taking oath the new president Sahabuddin and President Abdul Hamid officially changed the chair.
