More rains will fall across the country in the next 24 hours, forecasted the weather department.
"Light rains with temporary gusty winds are likely to occur at one or two places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies elsewhere over the country,” the department said in its bulletin on Tuesday.
Day temperature may fall slightly over the northwestern part and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country. Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
The highest temperature was recorder 34.5 degrees Celsius in Chandpur, while the minimum temperature was 19.5 degrees in Tetulia of Rangpur division.
Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon has withdrawn from the northern part of Bangladesh and the southwest monsoon may be withdrawn from the remaining part of Bangladesh, as per the bulletin.
