Khurshid Hossain appointed new DG of RAB

Additional Inspector General M Khurshid Hossain has been appointed as Director General (DG) of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).

The home ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Thursday.

Khurshid Hossain is the police officer of the BCS 12th batch.

Prior to this appointment, Khurshid was the Additional Inspector General at Police Headquarters (Crime and Operations).

He was born in a noble Muslim family at Kashiani of Gopalganj.
