The Bangladesh Metrological Department (BMD) in a forecast valid for the next 72 hours commencing from 9 am Monday, said weather may remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
Light fog may occur at places over the river basins of the country during late night to early morning, the BMD bulletin said, reports BSS.
A Trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining areaa. Seasonal low lies over the South Bay.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may rise slightly over the country, it said.
Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 32.4.5 degrees Celsius at Cox's Bazar and the minimum temperature was recorded at 13.4 degrees Celsius at Rajarhat.
