Jatiya Party Secretary General Mujibul Haque Chunnu on Thursday said Moshiur Rahman Ranga has been removed from the party for violating party rules and regulations.
He said Moshiur Rahman Ranga was used to vocal against the party at various programmes including the party’s parliamentary meetings for the last one year which violated the discipline of the party.
Chunnu made the remarks at a press conference at the party’s Banani office in the capital.
About the upcoming parliamentary election, he said Jatiya Party will give its candidatures in all 300 seats as the party doesn’t belong to any party.
He also claimed that the people of the country want to see Jatiya Party in the state power and it will come into power by winning the heart of the people.
Earlier on Wednesday, Moshiur Rahman Ranga has been removed from all his posts in the party including presidium member.
Party's Chairman GM Quader removed his as per the party’s constitution.
The order has already come into effect, he added.
