Awami League Presidium Member Abdur Rahman said a new BNP will be formed soon led by two former BNP leaders -- retired colonel Oli Ahmad and AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury.
He said, “Jamaat has also left the BNP. Many BNP leaders in a meeting decided that they will participate in the next elections without Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman.”
Abdur Rahman claimed while addressing the annual council of Araihazar Upazila Chhatra League and Govt Safar Ali College unit Chhatra League in Narayanganj on Tuesday.
The senior leader of the party said BNP leaders have no ethics and they also have no voters.
He also blamed BNP that it (BNP) is creating anarchy in the streets in the name of the movement.
Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) President Al Nahian Khan Joy and General Secretary Lekhak Bhattacharjee were present at the council.
