Heavy to heavy rainfalls are likely to occur at various places all over the country in the next 24 hours, said the weather department on Monday.
However, the day and the night temperature may rise slightly all over the country.
According to the latest weather bulletin of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 35.4 degrees Celsius in Jashore and the minimum temperature was 23.5 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat of the Rangpur division.
The met office said the highest rainfall in the last 24 hours (Till 6 am Sunday) was recorded at 56mm in Dimla of Rangpur.
The sun sets at 6:13 pm today (Monday) and rises at 5:42 am tomorrow (Tuesday) in Dhaka.
