The US military has launched a new wave of airstrikes against Yemen, targeting multiple sites across the country, including the capital, Sana'a, and the western province of Hudaydah, Press TV reported.
Yemen’s official Saba news agency, citing a security source speaking on condition of anonymity, reported that three US airstrikes targeted the Bani Hushaysh district in Sana’a province late on Friday.
One airstrike hit the Wadi al-Ajbar area in the Sanhan and Bani Bahlul district.
The report did not specify casualties or the extent of infrastructure damage resulting from the bombardments.
Elsewhere, in the strategic coastal province of Hudaydah, two airstrikes hit a location in the Bura district. No casualties were reported.
The US military also launched a series of airstrikes on the al-Abdiyah and Majzar districts of the central province of Ma’rib.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or the extent of the damage.
In response to continued Israeli aggression against Gaza and ongoing US-UK aggression against Yemen, the Yemeni Armed Forces have launched a series of attacks targeting Israeli, American, and British interests in the Red Sea and surrounding areas.
