Israel is set to release 110 Palestinian prisoners, including 30 minors, in exchange for three Israeli captives as the third phase of the prisoner swap under the ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement, Press TV reported.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Palestinian Prisoners Club advocacy group said, “110 Palestinian prisoners are to be released” on Thursday, adding that the prisoners were expected to arrive in the “Radana area of Ramallah.”
Releasing the prisoner list, the group noted that 30 were minors, 32 had received life sentences, and 48 were serving prison terms of different duration.
It said 20 of the prisoners set to be released would be sent into exile.
In the third phase of the prisoner exchange, three Israeli captives are to be freed, along with five Thai nationals, it further said.
In the last two exchanges, Hamas released seven Israeli captives in return for 290 prisoners.
