British citizens have been told to be aware of external tensions that could impact them if visiting many sunny holiday destinations this year.
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) provided essential information on the hostilities between Israel and Lebanon, GB News reported.
The Government body updated travel advice for those going to Cyprus, Morocco, Turkey, Tunisia, Bahrain, the UAE and Egypt.
It said, "Ongoing hostilities in the region and between Israel and Lebanon could escalate quickly and pose risks for the wider region.
"On October 1, Iran launched around 200 ballistic missiles at Israel. On October 26 Israel carried out military action against Iran. Monitor this travel advice and other media as the situation is changing fast."
These are popular holiday destinations at this time of year as they maintain hot and sunny weather through the winter.
However, Britons are encouraged to be vigilant and stay up-to-date with the latest information and guidance while abroad.
