380 tonnes of onions imported at Teknaf Land Port from Myanmar

Approximately 380 tonnes of onions have arrived at Teknaf Land Port in Cox's Bazar from Myanmar on October 17.

Local importer Faruk Enterprise has imported 377 tonnes of onions from Yangon, as stated by Jasim Uddin Chowdhury, the general manager of United Landport Teknaf Ltd., which runs the port, reports The Business Standard.

He added that the onions are being unloaded and these will be supplied to various parts of the country.
