The Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) on Wednesday announced a reduction in gold prices by Tk 1,750 per bhori.
According to a BAJUS press release the price cut will come into effect from Thursday.
The price of one bar (11.664 grams) of gold has been reduced by Tk 1,750.
On the other hand, the new price of 22-carat gold per bhori has been fixed to Tk 108,125.
The price of a 21-carat gold bar has been declined to Tk 1,633.
Earlier, gold prices were cut three times on October 1, 5 and September 28 by 4,200 in total.
