The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement of Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit formed a 20-member convening committee on Friday night, reports BSS.
Arif Sohel, member secretary of the Anti Discrimination Student Movement central executive committee, announced the panel at a media briefing at 10 p.m. at the university's central Shaheed Minar.
Arifuzzaman Uzzal was made convener of the committee, with Towhid Siam as the member secretary, Nakib Al Mahmud Arnob as the chief organizer, and Maliha Namlah as the spokesperson.
The other members of the committee are Imran Sahriar as senior joint convener, Nasim Al Tariq and Farhana Binte Zigar Farina as joint convener, Md Obaidullah as senior joint member secretary, Nahid Hasan Emon and Imran Hossen Rahat as joint member secretary, Jannat ul Ferdous Anjum and Md Raihan as organizing secretary, general members are Nafiz Ur Rahman, Kawsar Al Arman, Tanvir Ahmed Shihab, Marjiur Rahman Chowdhury, Raid Hossen and Galib Hasan.
Arif Sohel and Mehrab Shifat have been made advisers committee advisers.
