Govt officials' wealth statement deadline extended by 1.5 months

Government has extended the deadline for its officials to submit their wealth statements by one and a half months.

In a notice issued by the Ministry of Public Administration today (Dec 26), the deadline to submit wealth statement has been extended until February 15, 2025, reports TBS.

Through the notice, the government has asked its employees to submit their wealth statements to their respective authorities in sealed envelopes.

Earlier, the government made submission of wealth statements mandatory for its employees from this year.

The previous date to submit the wealth statements was November 30, which was extended till December 31.
