BRTC bus torched: Swechchasebak Dal leader held

Police arrested a man for his alleged involvement in setting a BRTC double decker bus on fire at Mirpur-10 in the capital on Monday.

The arrestee was identified as Sajedul Alam Tuku, 45, joint-convener of Rupnagar Thana Unit of Swechchasebak Dal.

Jasim Uddin, deputy commissioner (Mirpur Crime Division) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, told media that police held Sajedul from a nearby place of the incident spot.

He said that the driver of the burnt BRTC bus identified him as the arson attacker to the vehicle.
