Sixty-five educational institutions across Bangladesh have witnessed a 0 percent pass rate in HSC and equivalent exams 2024 held under 11 education boards of the country, reports Dhaka Tribune.
This marks a significant increase from the previous year, where 42 institutions had a 0% pass rate.
In 2022, the number of institutions with no passing students was 50.
Students from 9,187 institutions participated in this year's exams. The overall pass rate for the HSC and equivalent exams in 2024 is 77.78 percent, which is slightly lower than the previous year's 78.64 percent.
HSC and equivalent exams started on June 30. A number of 1,450,790 examinees appeared in the HSC and equivalent examinations this year. Of them, 10, 35,309 students have been successful.
