Three street children were killed as a Jamalganj-bound train knocked them down at Mohakhali in the capital on Saturday.
All the deceased were aged at 12-13 years.
Airport Police Outpost Sub-inspector Sunil Sutra Dhar confirmed the matter in the evening.
He said three children were walking on the rail line and a commuter train of Jamalpur’s Dewanganj bound hit them, leaving the trio dead on the spot.
