A massive fire broke out at Dhaka’s Mohammadpur Krishi Market early Thursday.
The fire broke out at the market around 3:43 am and spread soon, said Anwarul Islam, warehouse inspector of Fire service and Civil Defence Headquarters (Media Cell), reports UNB.
Seventeen firefighting units are working to control the fire.
No casualty was reported till the filing of this report at 9am.
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Army, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Navy and Bangladesh Air Force teams have reached the spot to assist the fire service to bring the fire under control, said a release of ISPR.
