WhatsApp is introducing a new feature to enhance the user experience on the platform. The newly launched "Custom List" feature is designed to further improve the chat experience for users.
This is not the first such feature. WhatsApp already offers several tools to help users keep important messages from getting lost in the flood of others.
With the new "Custom List" feature, users can organize both personal and group chats according to their preferences, making it easier to locate important conversations when needed.
Previously, WhatsApp introduced tabs such as Unread, Groups, and All. Now, a new tab has been added to the chat filter bar.
This feature is expected to be especially beneficial for users who regularly engage in conversations with multiple contacts on WhatsApp.
Additionally, just a few months ago, Meta introduced the AI Assistant on WhatsApp, which provides instant responses to user queries.
Now, Meta is preparing to launch the AI Voice Mode feature, which, as the name suggests, will enable artificial intelligence to interact directly with users via voice.
Moreover, Meta's AI will now be able to retain users' personal information.
This includes details from past chats, such as birthdays, food preferences, allergies, favorite authors, and more.
Over time, this will allow the AI to offer more personalized and "intimate" interactions. The feature is currently being tested, but users will have full control over their data.
They can delete any information or update it at their discretion.
