A BCB official said that immigration authorities have been instructed to temporarily prevent Anamul Haque Bijoy from leaving the country due to multiple spot-fixing allegations.

From the beginning of this year's BPL, spot-fixing allegations have surfaced, and they have increased over time.

In response, the BCB’s anti-corruption unit has requested the relevant government agencies to ensure that Durbar Rajshahi’s cricketer, Anamul, is not allowed to leave the country.

However, this measure is temporary. If Anamul is not found guilty in the anti-corruption unit’s investigation, the travel restriction will be lifted.

Anamul, who was initially the captain of Durbar Rajshahi at the start of the season, later replaced by Taskin Ahmed, is not the only one under suspicion. It is learned that at least three other players from Rajshahi have also been accused of spot-fixing.
