Govt sets potato storage price at Tk6.75 per Kg

The government has set the maximum price for storing potatoes in cold storages at Tk6.75 per kilogram.

This decision has been revealed in an office order signed by Department of Agricultural Marketing Deputy Director Mohammad Reza Ahmed Khan, read a press release on Sunday, reports UNB.

According to Section 16(b) of the Agricultural Marketing Act, 2018, the department has fixed a maximum rent of Tk6.75 for storing per kg potato in various cold storages across the country.
