Ex-Cumilla mayor Shuchona’s lands, flat and bank accounts seized

A Dhaka court on Monday ordered banks to freeze nine accounts, one flat and the lands of former Cumilla City Corporation mayor Tahseen Bahar Shuchona.

Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court acting Judge Ibrahim Mia passed the order considering an appeal filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

Tahseen Bahar Shuchona, the daughter of Awami League MP AKM Bahauddin Bahar, won the Cumilla City Corporation mayoral by-election in 2024.
