124 top police officials transferred

The government has transferred 124 top police officials as part of its mission to ensure a level playing field in police administration across the country.

The Police Headquarters issued two separate notifications on Monday, signed by Additional Deputy Inspector General of Police (Personnel Management-1) Khandaker Shamima Yesmin on behalf of Inspector General of Police Baharul Alam, enforcing the transfers with immediate effect.
