Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced a 15-member squad for the home series against Ireland. Pacer Jahanara Alam and Sharmin Akter were recalled to the team for ODI format after a year hiatus, reports BSS.
Jahanara last played an ODI match in May, 2023 while Sharmin's last game in this format was in July last year.
The squad featured few changes with Taj Nehar and Sanjida Akhter Meghla earning maiden ODI call-ups.
Disha Bishwas, Sumaiya Akter, Nishita Akhter, and Farzana Haque Lisa were left out of the ODI setup.
The Irish Women's team will arrive in Dhaka on November 22 for three ODIs and as many T20Is as part of the ICC FTP programme.
The three ODIs will be played in Mirpur on November 27, November 30 and December 2, while the T20Is will take place in Sylhet on December 5, 7 and 9.
