The Netherlands won the toss and opted to bowl first.
Batting at first, New Zealand posted 322 runs in 50 overs by 7 wickets.
Opener Will Young scored the highest 70 runs off 80 balls while Tom Latham and Rachin Ravindra scored 53 and 51 runs respectively.
Dutch bowlers -- Aryan Dutt, van Meekeren and van der Merwe bagged two wickets each.
Chasing 322 runs, the Netherlands scored 223 runs in 46.3 overs losing all wickets.
Top order batter Colin Ackermann scored the highest 69 runs from 73 balls.
New Zealand bowler Mitchell Santner bagged 5 wickets while Matt Henry got 3 wickets.
