India restricted Australia to 199 in their opening match of ICC Cricket World Cup held at Chennai on Sunday.
The turning track and tight bowling of the Indian bowlers restricted the Australians to comparatively small total.
None of the Aussie batters could able to score a fifty. Steven Smith was the top scorer with 46, and David Warner scored 41.
Ravidra Jadeja took 3 wickets for 28 runs, while Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav took 2 wickets each for 35 and 42 runs respectively.
India will come to bat shortly to chase it down.
