Imran Ahmed Tushar has been named as the acting general secretary of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) for next three months as his predecessor Abu Nayeem Shohag was banned by FIFA.
The BFF took the decision in an emergency meeting on Monday.
Imran will replace former BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag.
Shohag was banned by FIFA for two years for financial irregularities.
Imran joined BFF as personal assistant of president Kazi M Salahuddin in 2016 and later he acted as the BFF Protocol Manager.
