Bangladesh confirmed their win easily at last in the sole test match against resolute Ireland at Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium in Mirpur of the capital on Friday noon.
Ireland were 286 for 8 at the end of day four and could able to add just 6 runs as Ebadot Hossain cleaned up the Irish tails.
Chasing the target of 138, Bangladesh started very smoothly with the attacking batting of Liton Das.
After the departure of Liton and Najmul Hossain, Bangladesh had no trouble at all as Mushfiqur Rahim powered the team to victory of 7 wickets with his brilliant 51 off just 48 balls.
Mushfiqur who scored 124 in the first innings was judged Player of the Match.
