The first poster for the web series "Adhunik Bangla Hotel," starring Mosharraf Karim, has been released. The poster shows three mysterious looks of the actor.
Chorki released the poster on their official Facebook page on Saturday. The post's caption read: “With local food and plenty of ghosts, Mosharraf Karim is coming to Chorki Original Series “Adhunik Bangla Hotel” this Halloween. In 3 weeks, 3 episodes, you will have 3 different flavors of Bengali horror!”
Kazi Asad directed and scripted the series, based on the short story by Shariful Hasan. Adhunik Bangla Hotel is an anthology series that mixes psychological horror, fantasy, thriller, and mythology.
The web series features three episodes. The titled of the episodes are “Boal Macher Jhol” (Boal Fish Curry), “Khasir Paya” (Goat Trotters), and “Hasher Salun” (Duck Curry).
The episode “Khasir Paya” is inspired by the short story of the same name, “Hasher Salun” is adapted from “No Exit”, and “Boal Macher Jhol” is based on the story “Khabar”.
The series also stars Gazi Rakayet, Salahuddin Lavlu, Shilpi Sharkar Apu, A K Azad Shetu, Nidra Dey Neha, and many others.
The first episode of the Chorki original series will premiere on the platform on 30 October, marking Halloween.
Previously, Mosharraf Karim starred in the Chorki original web film “Daag”, but this is his first time working in an anthology series on the platform.
On the other hand, Mosharraf Karim-starrer web series “Bhalobasa” premiered on Kolkata’s new OTT platform “Friday” in July. The four-episode series is directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud.
