Chief Advisor greets Donald Trump on his new term as President

Chief Advisor to the Interim Government Dr. Muhammad Yunus has greeted Donald Trump as he begins his new term as the 47th US President.

The Foreign Ministry said this in a short message on Monday.

The Foreign Ministry said that the Chief Advisor sent Donald Trump a congratulatory message on his being elected as the US President.

In that message, Dr. Yunus expressed his strong belief that the two countries will work to open up new areas of cooperation between them.

We reiterate that belief and congratulate Donald Trump as he begins his new term, states the message.

Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 47th US President in Washington on Monday local time.
