Biden greets Trump at the White House ahead of the inauguration

US President Joe Biden greeted President-elect Donald Trump and shook hands at the White House ahead of meeting that will precede Trump’s inauguration. 

First lady Jill Biden and Melania Trump were also in attendance.

The inauguration event for Trump to be US President for the second term already began at the White House. Trump will sworn in as President very soon. 

Donald Trump is becoming America's 47th President defeating Kamala Harris in the election held in November 5, 2024.
